As Autumn begins to arrive after a long hot summer, and our skins have enjoyed some serious sun during the summer, the chances are it now needs a bit of a moisturising boost to get it back to its usual self.
The cooler the autumn means that your skin needs greater protection. Knowing your skin type is an essential part of getting your skin in tip top condition. Even oily skin types might need a richer lotion to stop their skin from drying out.
Don’t get rid of your sun creams just yet as the sun rays can still cause damage to your skin even in the Autumn sun.
Exfoliate more often and get into a good routine of regularly applying a moisturiser.
Choose a gentle cleanser and rejuvenate your skin with a serum, and don’t forget to look after your lips which can become chapped and dry in the Autumn.
Remember to get some extra Vitamin C which they now say works as an antioxidant, and slows the rate of free-radical damage which causes skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.
